

IDEEMATEC showcased its L:TEC Agri-PV tracker in a full-scale outdoor installation at Intersolar Europe 2026
The system offers a standard array height of 2.8 m, row spacing of 11 m, and a dedicated 70° harvest mode

German solar tracker manufacturer IDEEMATEC highlighted its L:TEC Agri-PV tracker at Intersolar Europe 2026. For the first time, the company hosted its own outdoor exhibition area, where it displayed the full-scale tracker alongside a tractor to demonstrate the dual use of land for farming and solar power generation.
Based on IDEEMATEC’s L:TEC 2P tracker platform, the modular Agri-PV system can be adapted to different site and agricultural requirements. With an array height of 2.8 m and a row spacing of 11 m, it provides space for agricultural machinery to operate between the rows.
The system offers a tracking range of up to 60°. Its 70° harvest mode moves the modules to a steep position, creating space for planting, harvesting, mowing, and fertilization. According to IDEEMATEC, the system is designed to meet the requirements of DIN SPEC 91434 for agrivoltaic installations.
Each tracker can accommodate up to 360 modules and 8 individual strings, using one drive motor per tracker. The system supports different module formats, including bifacial products, and offers a north-to-south slope tolerance of up to 36%.
The tracker uses IDEEMATEC’s locking drive mechanism and decoupled transmission. Once it reaches the required position, the mechanism locks the tracker in place and transfers structural loads to the foundations. According to the company, this design reduces mechanical stress on the tracker structure and modules.
For high-wind conditions, the tracker uses a flat-stow strategy, positioning the modules nearly horizontally. IDEEMATEC says its tracker and stow design can reduce system stresses by up to 50% and tested at wind speeds reaching 205 km/h.
The L:TEC Agri-PV tracker uses the company’s ID-Aurora control software to adjust its position based on weather data, site information and tracker-position sensors.
In addition to the Agri-PV system, IDEEMATEC’s tracker portfolio includes the Horizon L:TEC 1P and L:TEC 2P. The Horizon L:TEC 1P supports tracker rows of up to 260 m and accommodates up to 240 modules per tracker. It incorporates the company’s decoupled-drive system and uses a flat-stow position during adverse weather. According to IDEEMATEC, the tracker can withstand wind speeds of up to 400 km/h.
As its name suggests, the L:TEC 2P features a 2-in-portrait configuration, supporting maximum row lengths of 195 m and can accommodate up to 360 modules per tracker. According to IDEEMATEC, the system also requires fewer foundation piles per MW. Both the 1P and 2P trackers are compatible with bifacial modules.
