

LEAD presented a TOPCon 4.0 turnkey production line for solar cell manufacturing

Manufacturing equipment supplier LEAD Intelligent showcased integrated production solutions for the solar PV and energy storage industries at SNEC 2026, Shanghai. The company presented a turnkey cell line, module stringers, and manufacturing equipment for large-format energy storage batteries.
On the cell manufacturing side, LEAD presented its TOPCon 4.0 turnkey production line. The full-line smart factory solution combines TOPCon cell-processing equipment with automation. For module manufacturing, the company showcased stringing equipment for 0BB, back-contact (BC), and multi-cut cell configurations. According to the company, its multi-cut stringer offers a throughput of up to 16,000 cells/hour.
LEAD showcased an xBC full-cell stringer for producing interconnected cell strings used in full-screen BC modules. The equipment integrates automatic cell loading, rear-side alignment and interconnection, soldering, string inspection and unloading.
According to the company, the next-generation BC stringer supports cells for wafer formats ranging from 182 mm to 230 mm. The equipment is compatible with xBC and 0BB configurations and supports low-temperature adhesive-based interconnection as well as conventional high-temperature soldering. Based on a 72-cell module configuration, the BC stringer can process up to 10,800 cells/hour, according to the company. LEAD also claims a cell breakage rate of ≤0.1% and a dispensing defect rate of ≤0.03%.
Also showcased was manufacturing equipment for large-format lithium-ion cells. The solution covers cell capacities of 314 Ah, 600 Ah, 1,000 Ah and above.
The company presented winding and stacking equipment for larger cells with thicker electrodes. Its high-speed winding machine offers a claimed product yield of up to 99.6%. The notching and stacking machine has a single-station cycle time of 0.6 seconds/piece.
LEAD also presented a turnkey line for prismatic battery modules, packs, and energy storage containers. It supports both module-to-pack and cell-to-pack configurations.
