

Megasol showcased its solar roof and façade system at Intersolar Europe 2026
The frameless glass-glass modules are available in four sizes and can replace conventional roof coverings

Switzerland-based solar module manufacturer and building-integrated PV (BIPV) solutions provider Megasol showcased its LEVEL Up system at Intersolar Europe 2026. Designed for solar roofs and façades, the displayed module offers a power density of up to 203 Wp/m².
The system uses frameless glass-glass modules that can replace conventional roof coverings such as tiles or slate. Available in four sizes, the modules can accommodate different roof layouts. Megasol also provides matching components for roof edges, ridges, windows, and connections with conventional roof tiles.
The modules incorporate Megasol’s ZRM+ surface technology. Its matte-black, microstructured glass reduces reflections and glare while maintaining a uniform appearance. For installation, the rails and retaining hooks are mounted first, after which the modules are slid into place. According to Megasol, this enables an installation rate of up to 12 m² per person-hour. The overlapping modules keep rainwater out while leaving space underneath for ventilation.
The system has hail-resistance class 5, corresponding to hailstones measuring 50 mm. The company says the system can also withstand snow loads equivalent to more than 4 m of settled snow. Its resistance to wind-driven rain is specified according to CEN/TR 15601, while its fire classifications are BROOF(t1) and BROOF(t2) according to DIN EN 13501-5.
Megasol specifies a service life of up to 50 years and provides a 35-year performance guarantee. An additional 15-year product warranty is available in Switzerland.
