Meyer Burger Technology AG highly promotes its "Made in Germany" solar products, including existing as well as products in the pipeline based on heterojunction (HJT), enhanced versions of the Meyer Burger Tile and Slate solar roof tiles, and the next generation IBC and perovskite solar cell technologies.
The company announced the 2024 launch of its new product line, Meyer Burger Panel+, a glass-glass module available in Black, White, and Clear variants. This product line combines the benefits of HJT cell technology with those of glass-glass module technology to offer high-performance, aesthetic, and lightweight solar panels. Additionally, from Q4 2023, all Meyer Burger solar modules will include patented Smart Corners to facilitate self-cleaning and prevent performance losses due to dirt accumulation.
Meyer Burger also offers eco-friendly, high-yield solar roof tiles, free from harmful substances like lead or PFAS group substances, which also holds good for these high-performance solar roof tiles, with a peak output of 17 watts, offer an excellent alternative for listed houses or roofs with interruptions.
Apart from products based on HJT technology, Meyer Burger also presents its IBC and perovskite tandem solar cells, with plans for large-scale production of IBC modules by 2025. Meyer Burger also shared insights into its in-house module test center, demonstrating the rigorous testing procedures its products undergo. These tests are based on internationally recognized IEC or UL standards. The company asserts that its product range not only meets but easily surpasses these testing protocols.
