Mibet’s latest mounting clamps are equipped with a conductive support plate with a spike, which ensures fixation and an electrical grounding path
Its aluminum alloy-coated stainless-steel structure offers mechanical strength and corrosion resistance after field operation
The company offers a product warranty for up to 10 years and a service life of up to 25 years for this mounting system
Chinese PV module mounting supplier Mibet has introduced a universal mounting solution designed for metal roofs.
The product, called the Universal Standing Seam Clamp Kit, features a trackless mounting design. It also combines mechanical fixation and electrical grounding functions on a single platform. The system features a conductive support plate with a spike structure, which provides mechanical stability and a continuous electrical grounding path. According to the company, the system is fabricated from SUS304 stainless steel with an AL6005-T5 aluminum alloy coating, providing it with mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The company adds that it is engineered to simplify on-site installation, reducing the number of mounting components and eliminating the need for conventional rails. Its integrated mid- and end-clamp configuration, combined with the conductive support plate, enables a streamlined installation process and reduces the need for components, Mibet states.
The mounting system supports tilt angles from 0° to 15° and can accommodate both portrait and landscape module orientations. It is rated to withstand wind speeds of up to 60 m/s and snow loads of 1.6 kN/m². The system is supplied in a standard silver finish, with optional color customization available. Mibet states that the system is designed for a service life of at least 25 years and is backed by a 10-year warranty.
