Germany-based novotegra, a mounting solutions company, presented its product portfolio at Intersolar Europe 2026. The company also announced a new partnership with ArcelorMittal at the exhibition.
novotegra offers a variety of mounting products for flat, inclined, tiled, and other roofing systems, along with mounting for vertical PV on metal and brickwork building façades. Among these, a mounting solution for sandwiched roof panels was jointly developed with ArcelorMittal, which is marketed as Ondatherm Solar.
novotegra already offers mounting solutions along with the required components for trapezoidal roofing sheets, which have the outer surface similar to that of sandwiched roofs. However, Ondatherm Solar is a solution in which the short mounting profiles are pre-assembled onto the sandwiched roofs, enabling a simple installation process for modules. The shorter profiles, in addition to enabling lower material costs, are fastened with a high holding force using a chip-free fastening process with thin sheet screws. The company states that the solution is due for approval from the German building authority Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt).
The mounting solution is also available in multiple variants with varied height and orientation to provide ventilation on the rear side of the installed panel as well as a provision for installing microinverters as per the customer’s requirement. The product is currently available in three variants: C24, C47, and C71. The first one is a short profile using lower material, offering a cost-efficient product. C47 offers a higher distance from the roof surface for optimized ventilation. C71 is typically used for microinverter integration into the PV installation.
