Oriental FlexTech product showcase at SNEC 2026 included cable-supported PV mounting solutions designed for water bodies, agricultural sites and challenging terrain
The company says its mounting system supports spans of up to 60 m and installation heights of up to 15 m
An intelligent operation and maintenance platform integrates drone inspections, inspection robots and cable monitoring technologies
Flexible PV mounting structures are being developed to address installation challenges across water bodies, agricultural sites and uneven terrain. At SNEC 2026, Oriental FlexTech, the flexible PV mounting solutions brand of Jiangsu Neusoft Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. presented its cable-based PV mounting solutions designed for long-span installations and application-specific deployment scenarios.
Speaking to TaiyangNews at SNEC 2026, Shu Xia, General Manager, Overseas Business Division, Oriental FlexTech, said the company's mounting system uses cables to support and secure PV modules. He stated that the system can achieve spans of up to 60 m and installation heights of up to 15 m. Shu added that the technology has been deployed in China for wastewater treatment plants, fish ponds and mountainous locations.
Oriental FlexTech offers 3 product series targeting different installation environments. The Yunyi series is intended for water systems, and parking lots. It features large spans and high clearances. The Jinyi series targets nearshore, agricultural, forestry and fishery applications. According to the company, the design reduces the number of foundation piles while enabling dual-use applications such as aquaculture beneath the PV installation. The Lanyi series is designed for mountainous regions, deserts, Gobi areas and other arid environments. The structure uses less steel, has a lower installation height and can be deployed on sloped terrain.
Oriental FlexTech also highlighted several project references, including sewage pond installations in Jiaxing, fish pond projects in Shanghai, and mountainous projects in Zhejiang Province.
In addition to the mounting structures, the company presented an intelligent operation and maintenance platform. The system combines drone inspections, inspection robots, automated cleaning and AI-based fault detection. It also incorporates cable tension monitoring and sensors for tracking cable condition, anchorage health and wind-induced vibration.
