Saatvik Green Energy Limited has debuted its 1-phase and 3-phase string inverter – UDAY series
These inverters support residential and commercial & industrial rooftop installations of up to 50 kW AC capacity
The company is planning to make these inverters commercially available through its existing services and distribution network
Saatvik Green Energy Limited, one of India’s rapidly growing PV panel manufacturers, has debuted its on-grid inverter portfolio with the launch of the UDAY series.
Its 1-phase inverter has a power output (AC) range from 1.1 kW to 6 kW. It is designed for residential and small commercial rooftop applications. In comparison, its 3-phase inverter, which has a power output (AC) range of 6 kW to 50 kW, is targeted at large residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) installations. However, both inverters have a rated PV string input current of up to 20 A, supporting high-power PV modules (above 600 W). In addition, these are designed for up to 150% oversizing (DC/AC). Since PV modules rarely operate at their nominal power due to factors such as soiling and shading, inverters paired with additional DC capacity (oversizing) can operate closer to full load for a larger portion of the day compared to systems with equivalent DC-to-AC ratios. In addition, its integrated MPPT channel, with a conversion efficiency of up to 99%, maximizes solar energy harvesting.
Regarding safety and durability, its anti-islanding feature, which prevents AC power injection into the grid during outages, shutdowns, or failures, ensures personnel safety. Upon request, these inverters can be equipped with Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) safety features. It automatically detects arc formation in the PV array and subsequently mitigates potential fire incidents by disconnecting the inverter.
The company is planning to make these inverters commercially available across India through its existing distribution and service network.
