Fenecon, a leading manufacturer of residential, commercial, and industrial energy storage solutions, promotes full line of high-performance energy storage products, including  “FENECON Industrial S” industrial storage unit, second-life EV batteries as power storage devices, automatic emergency power switch, Fenecon apps for heat transition and variable electricity tariffs, and storage for rent and used storage market.

The top of the promotional list is the new industrial storage unit Fenecon Industrial S. This unit is scalable from 92 kW to 184 kW and from 82 kWh to 164 kWh, making it ideal for commercial applications and electric vehicle charging stations. The system helps to avoid cost-intensive grid expansion, performs peak shaving and reduces electricity costs in the long term.

Fenecon  also has a container storage system that integrates used e-vehicle batteries, so-called second-life batteries from a wide range of automobile brands and age ranges. The batteries, along with the award-winning hardware and software platform, can be used as “full packs,” or a whole battery pack for a vehicle, replete with a cooling system and battery management system. This means that the inverter-battery units operate on a rolling basis to maximise the efficiency of the overall system. Used electric car battery packs can be swapped out at any point during the storage life cycle, which might span decades, ensuring high value retention of the power electronics and the housing.

Furthermore, the EU has chosen this method from a pool of applicants to the Innovation Fund. To facilitate the transition of mobile battery to stationary batteries, the European Union is funding Fenecon’s new industrialized production plant (“CarBatteryReFactory“).
