Sineng Electric highlighted its latest residential all-in-one hybrid solution at the event
It displayed 2 types of liquid-cooled string PCS of 250 kW and 430 kW capacity
It also showcased a 1.25 MW capacity central PCS during the exhibition
Sineng Electric, a well-known Chinese supplier of PV inverters, energy storage solutions, and digital power products, showcased its wide range of hybrid inverters and power conversion systems (PCS) at Intersolar Europe 2025.
During a brief interview with the TaiyangNews team, Andreas Arnold, Director of Product Management for Europe at Sineng Electric, provided an overview of the company's latest product offerings. According to him, the company has a wide product portfolio, suitable for residential, C&I, and utility applications. The company’s string PCS models, typically liquid-cooled, in the range of 200 kW and 430 kW, are suitable for utility-scale ESS applications. The residential hybrid inverter starts from 3 kW; and for C&I scale, the power can go up to 125 kW. However, for utility-scale string inverters, the company offers a power range between 250 kW and 350 kW, added Arnold.
Arnold highlighted Sineng’s latest residential all-in-one solution, which features 4 stacked battery units, each with a storage capacity of 6.4 kWh. Atop the battery stack sits a 3-phase inverter, with a power capacity ranging from 5 kW to 15 kW. Each battery unit, equipped with LiFePO₄ cells, operates at a rated voltage of up to 400 V and supports a maximum output current of 7.5 A.
Leveraging Sineng’s remote monitoring platform, users can track self-consumption as well as the charging and discharging cycles of the battery system. Faults or system issues can be analyzed remotely via a smartphone or laptop, enabling quick troubleshooting. Arnold also emphasized the system’s comprehensive safety features, which are designed to mitigate fire risks effectively.
The company showcased 2 new liquid-cooled string PCS models – 250 kW and 430 kW. The 250 kW model, designed for integration with battery containers, offers fast installation and commissioning. With a maximum efficiency of 99%, its liquid-cooling technology also helps reduce auxiliary power losses. Supporting cluster-level control, the PCS can improve battery utilization by up to 7%, according to company claims. The 430 kW variant supports integration with battery containers of over 6 MWh capacity. In a turnkey configuration, the system includes an isolation transformer at the center, flanked by 16 string PCS units (each 430 kW) on both sides and an RMU (Ring Main Unit) , resulting in a total capacity of up to 12.5 MW.
In contrast, Sineng’s 1.25 MW central PCS, also on display, can be integrated into a 10 MW turnkey solution. Housed in a 40-foot container, it includes 4 numbers of 1.25 MW PCS units on each side, with an isolation transformer centrally positioned. Arnold emphasized the system's modular design, which allows for easy maintenance by enabling individual unit access.
The company’s latest 350 kW string inverter is equipped with 6 MPPT channels and 30 PV string inputs, making it suitable for large-scale utility solar projects. Enclosed in an IP66-rated cabinet, it features a dedicated right-side compartment with an AC cable clamp for streamlined operation and maintenance (O&M). Key operational features include anti-PID recovery and reactive power (SVG) support.
According to Arnold, when paired with Sineng’s ITS-8960-MV integrated transformer station, this 350 kW inverter can be deployed in large-scale utility applications.
Additionally, Sineng presented a containerized 8.8 MW turnkey solution (40 ft), capable of rapid grid response, including low voltage ride through (LVRT) and high voltage ride through (HVRT) functionality within 30 milliseconds. This model has received NTS631 certification in Spain and is now commercially available.
Furthermore, the company’s 2.2 MW central inverter, also in a 40 ft turnkey solution, is expected to receive certification for key European markets by Q4 2025.
