SKYWORTH Solar is set to launch its SolaMate rail-mounting version in Germany
The balcony PV system comprises 2 TOPCon PV modules, a microinverter, and a prefabricated mounting system

SKYWORTH Solar, an arm of leading Chinese home appliance company SKYWORTH Group, has scheduled the launch of its latest plug-in balcony PV system, SolaMate, on August 15, 2026, in Europe. This product is expected to be commercially available on Joybuy Germany, an e-commerce channel, offering purchase, quick delivery, and optional on-site installation through a single platform.
This system consists of a ‘Balcony Solar Kit’ and a mounting system, which are expected to be sold separately. It is designed for European end users who don’t have any personal roof space, such as rented apartments. The former features 2 TOPCon PV modules, each rated at 450 W and 22.54% efficiency, an 800 W single-phase microinverter, and AC cables. This setup is designed to mount on a house’s balcony railings via a pre-installed mounting system. The microinverter is equipped with 2 MPPT channels, each with a voltage range of 16 to 60 V, and supports 2 PV modules with a cumulative capacity of 900 W (2 × 450 W). The microinverter’s output terminal can be plugged into a household power point via the kit’s AC cable. This plug-in interconnection can feed in up to 800 W of captive real-time loads, aligning with Germany’s balcony feed-in regulation. Excess PV generation is exported to the grid. These complex real-time operations and plant status can be monitored and checked through the company’s ARTIST OS app.
For the mounting part, these PV modules are mounted on a prefabricated mounting structure and hung from the railings through two rounded hooks. These hooks properly fit the modules on the railings and improve mechanical safety under high wind or snow load, the company claims. This system is also designed to work at full load capacity between an ambient temperature range of -40 to +60°C. Its microinverter is IP67 rated, making it suitable for outdoor environments with exposure to wind, rain, and corrosion. The company offers a 15-year whole-unit warranty and a 30-year performance warranty.
According to SKYWORTH, alongside the kit, Joybuy will facilitate local inventory, last-mile delivery, and optional on-site balcony mounting, offering consumers a more direct avenue ‘from choosing the system to putting it to use’. Qu Wanfei, Executive President & General Manager of the Overseas Business Division of SKYWORTH Solar, said that the company has drawn on decades of experience in the consumer electronics segment and is applying the same approach to the residential energy segment. She added, “By working with Joybuy, we can connect SolaMate with the delivery and installation support needed to make balcony solar easier to adopt in Germany, while building a model we can extend across Europe.”
After the August debut of the railing-mounted version, Joybuy Germany will add the SolaMate ground-mounted and sunshade types to its website by September 2026.
