Solar Fabrik displayed its latest made-in-Europe TOPCon and BC modules targeting Europe’s residential and C&I segments at the show
The TOPCon series, with white and black variants, offers a maximum output power of 455 W
The full-black BC module boasts a power output of up to 480 W
Solar Fabrik, one of the few European PV module-makers, participated in Intersolar Europe 2025, featuring its latest TOPCon and back contact (BC) product portfolio.
According to the company’s website and official LinkedIn threads, the company displayed 2 of its latest TOPCon modules at the event – Trend White and Trend Black from the Mono S4 Halfcut series.
Featuring 108 TOPCon half-cells, Trend White boasts a maximum power output of 455 W , while the black variant offers 450 W. The company didn’t disclose the efficiency for both models. Both modules have the same dimensions of 1,762 × 1,134 × 30 mm, are laminated with 2 mm-thick front and rear glass, and weigh 24.9 kg. Although both feature black anodized aluminum alloy frames, the primary difference lies in their appearance. According to the datasheet, the former has a white gridline architecture between cell-to-cell and string-to-string gaps, probably emanating from the embedded white mesh patterned rear glass. However, its black counterpart features a full black aesthetic. The rated power density for these modules is 225 W/m².
Targeted at Europe, which is known for heavy snowfall in winters, the company states these modules can withstand wind loads of up to 5,400 Pa. It added that these products are tested for hail of up to 40 mm diameter with speeds of up to 29.2 m/s, without any damage.
The Mono S4 Halfcut series BC Full Black model, equipped with 108 BC half-cells, is rated for a maximum power output of 480 W. It has slightly larger dimensions of 1,800 × 1,134 × 30 mm compared to TOPCon counterparts. It is built with a black frame, and the black print between cell-to-cell gaps, like a mesh structure, gives the module’s full-black front side a gridline-free appearance that makes it visually appealing. Covered with 2 mm front and rear glass, the module weighs 24.9 kg. Its higher power density of 235 W/m², compared to 225 W/m² for TOPCon alternatives , is attributed to the power gain achieved from shade-free front-side BC architecture. According to the company, the half-cut BC cells used in the modules leverage their ‘low reverse breakdown voltage characteristic’ to bypass themselves under partial shading rather than an entire substring.
On the safety front, this BC variant has identical safety and durability features to its TOPCon counterpart.
The company offers a 30-year product and performance warranty on all the products mentioned above.
