SolaX Power has integrated its SolaXCloud monitoring and energy management platform with Powernaut's Energy Operations Workspace
Energy retailers can exchange operating data and use supported energy management functions on compatible SolaX inverters and batteries through the interface
Homeowners continue to use SolaXCloud for normal monitoring and operation of their systems
SolaX Power and Powernaut have integrated SolaXCloud with Powernaut's Energy Operations Workspace, allowing compatible SolaX residential inverters and battery systems to connect with European energy retailers and utility platforms.
Chinese inverter and energy storage system supplier SolaX Power uses SolaXCloud to monitor and manage compatible SolaX systems. European software company Powernaut provides a platform for managing distributed energy resources. Its Energy Operations Workspace brings energy assets, operating data and energy management activities into one platform.
SolaX says the integration addresses the challenge energy retailers face when connecting and managing installed inverters and storage systems from different manufacturers. Compatible SolaX systems can now exchange data with Powernaut through SolaXCloud, reducing the need for retailers to build and maintain a separate device integration. Homeowners continue to use SolaXCloud for normal monitoring and operation.
Ludwig Cools, SolaX Power's Country Manager for Belgium, said the Powernaut integration is intended to let compatible SolaX systems participate in emerging energy services while continuing to operate within the SolaXCloud ecosystem.
Powernaut’s CTO and Co-founder, Serge Morel, added, “This gives retailers a faster way to include SolaX customers in their energy programs without having to build a separate integration from scratch.”
