Solitech Solar has launched its SOLI ASTRA TOPCon module with 610 W power and 23.61% efficiency
The M10-based module uses 144 half-cut cells, 2 mm dual glass, and has a bifaciality of 70±5%
The module is listed under ALMM-I, while the company also offers a DCR variant indicating the availability of domestically manufactured cells
India-based PV manufacturer Solitech Solar has launched its new TOPCon module, marketed as SOLI ASTRA. Based in Surat, Gujarat, Solitech has an operational module manufacturing capacity of 2 GW.
The module has a maximum rated power of 610 W and an efficiency of 23.61%. Constructed using 2 mm dual glass, the module is configured with 144 half-cut bifacial cells based on the M10 wafer format. Unlike the mainstream commercial TOPCon modules listed in TaiyangNews TOP SOLAR MODULES, this module comes with a much lower bifaciality of 70±5%. Its warranties include a maximum of 1% degradation in the first year and a maximum linear degradation of 0.4% from year 2 onward, which is common across the TOPCon products. The power retention at the end of 30 years is 87.5%, and the product warranty is valid for 12 years.
The module measures 2,278 × 1,134 × 30 mm and weighs 31.4 kg. The product is enlisted in the latest approved list of models and manufacturers-I (ALMM-I) along with its other products in different configurations. This means the modules are eligible for use in government projects, projects under government schemes or programs, and net-metering projects. The company claims that the SOLI ASTRA panels are also available in a domestic content requirement (DCR) variant, indicating that the company has also secured a supply of domestically manufactured cells to make these modules.
A larger variant of the company’s TOPCon module, also listed in ALMM-I, is its SOLI FUSION product based on the G12 wafer format, delivering a maximum power of 650 W and 24.04% module efficiency.
