One of Northern Europe's renowned solar module manufacturers, Solitek, recently expanded its portfolio to smart battery manufacturing to offer a holistic home energy management system. The Solitek NOVA battery management system has a maximum capacity of 40 kWh.

The smart battery management system includes a battery control unit, lithium-ion and iron phosphate (LFP) battery modules, a hybrid inverter, and a smart meter. With the capability to stack up to 8 battery modules, each offering 5.12 kWh of electricity, Solitek NOVA offers an impressive energy storage capacity of up to 40 kWh. Solitek says the high-capacity battery ensures uninterrupted power to 1-phase and 3-phase critical household loads in case of grid outage.

Besides being a stable energy storage backup, the system also offers smart home energy management. The integrated artificial intelligence (AI) control box's algorithm continuously assesses dynamic electricity prices, weather forecasts, and consumer consumption patterns. This smart system intelligently plans charging cycles to capitalize on lower energy prices, ensuring efficient use of solar energy and grid electricity based on time-of-day (TOD) rates and seasonal variations. This time-of-day energy consumption leads to lower household monthly energy billing.

According to the company statement, its integrated battery control system allows the integration of solar power systems with a hybrid inverter to get enhanced power for residential consumers. Total domestic energy management can be comprehensively visualized and controlled by a user-friendly app coupled with the smart meter. Solitek is offering 10 years of standard product warranty for its NOVA system with a stacked battery bank.

Solitek CEO Julius Sakalauskas said, "NOVA is more than a mere energy storage solution; it represents a significant advancement in home energy management. With its advanced AI capabilities, NOVA learns from your household's energy habits, maximizing efficiency and savings from solar energy utilization."
