Sunbeam presented its flat-roof mounting systems at Intersolar Europe 2026
The SUPRA system supports large format modules measuring up to 2,500 × 1,310 mm
SUPRA ReSourced reduces project-level CO₂ emissions by at least 50%, according to the company
Netherlands-based Sunbeam, a PV mounting systems supplier, presented its mounting solutions at Intersolar Europe 2026. The company highlighted its SUPRA flat-roof mounting system and the SUPRA ReSourced version.
SUPRA is designed for large-format modules measuring up to 2,500 × 1,310 mm. It is available in 2 layouts: a south-facing layout called Universal, and an east-west layout called Symmetrical. In the south-facing layout, all modules are tilted in one direction, while the east-west layout uses pairs of modules facing opposite directions. Modules are installed at an inclination of about 10° in both variants.
The system is secured with ballast as standard. Roof anchors or a combination of anchors and ballast can be used for roofs with lower load-bearing capacity. Its average roof load ranges from 12 kg/m² to 18 kg/m², while using lightweight modules and a ballast-free anchored installation reduces the load to between 5 kg/m² and 7 kg/m².
The mounting profiles are connected in a way that allows them to expand and contract with temperature changes. According to Sunbeam, this prevents damage to the roof and enables mounting fields of up to 50 × 50 m. It also uses preassembled components to simplify installation. According to Sunbeam, an experienced team of 4 people can install more than 200 module positions per hour.
Based on the same system, SUPRA ReSourced replaces the steel used in the standard version with steel containing 88% recycled material. The steel is produced from scrap using an electric arc furnace powered by renewable electricity. According to Sunbeam, this reduces the mounting system’s project-level CO₂ emissions by at least 50% compared with the standard SUPRA system. The company provides a project-specific report stating the recycled-material content, material origin, and emissions reduction. SUPRA ReSourced is currently available commercially.
