Sungrow’s Wide Array Of Product Offerings At Intersolar Europe 2024

Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd. (“Sungrow”) is a global leading PV inverter and ESS provider with over  605 GW of power electronic converters installed worldwide as of  June 2024.

Sungrow Power Supply Co. Ltd, a China-headquartered global PV inverter and ESS solutions provider, showcased its latest offerings at Intersolar Europe 2024.

Speaking to TaiyangNews, the company highlighted some of its latest offerings at the show – a new microinverter series, a home energy solution, and a commercial & industrial (C&I) scale hybrid energy storage solution.

Microinverter

The company introduced the latest microinverter series of 3 different power classes under the S450S, S800S, and S1600S models. Boasting respective power output of 450 W and 800 W, the S450S and S800S models are promoted for the balcony PV application. Moreover, the S1600S series, with 1,600 W output power, is suitable for rooftop PV applications, added the company. The company says that these microinverters, which are equipped with 5 self-check and IV diagnosis features, offer ease of installation & maintenance with advanced reliability. It emphasized that their plug-and-play accessories, with an innovative cooling system, boost power performance by up to 6%. Sungrow’s upgraded wide-area wireless technology enhances system flexibility and scalability by extending 50% of communication distances. The S450S, S800S, and S1600S series microinverters are already commercially available in Europe. The company offers a 15-year warranty on the product and a software service period of 15 years.

Home energy solution

Sungrow’s latest home energy hybrid solution is offered in 3 different power classes between 10 kW and 25 kW capacity, integrable with a battery storage capacity of up to 40 kWh. The connected battery bank supports up to 50 A of charging and discharging current. Its integrated AFCI 2.0 feature ensures system safety for any potential arc fault generation, added the company. All these home energy hybrid solutions can be communicated via WiNet-S2 wireless communication technology. These home energy storage systems are commercially available in Europe, Australia, and South Africa.

C&I hybrid energy storage solution

Besides the residential microinverter and home energy systems, Sungrow also promoted its PowerStack 200CS liquid-cooled energy storage solution (ESS) for the C&I application. The product is rated with a power output of 110 kW and a storage capacity of up to 225 kWh. The company says that PowerStack offers protection from individual battery cells to the entire setup. It further said that the microinverter ensures uninterrupted seamless power supply to critical loads of C&I applications with its automatic On/Off-grid functionality. Sungrow says that the ESS, equipped with an advanced liquid-cooling mechanism, ensures effective heat dissipation and minimizes cell temperature differences to ≤ 2.5℃.
