The 670 W bifacial Ultra T 3.0 module reaches 24.8% efficiency and has 80 ± 5% bifaciality
A 470 W full-black module from the same quarter-cut series reaches 23.5% efficiency and uses an anti-glare design
Suntech also showed a 520 W half-cell Ultra T 2.0 module and storage systems for residential and C&I under SunStorage range
Chinese PV manufacturer Suntech presented TOPCon modules and energy storage systems at Solar & Storage Live UK 2026, held from September 22 to 24 in Birmingham. The display covered Ultra T 3.0 and Ultra T 2.0 modules as well as SunStorage systems.
The Ultra T 3.0 series uses Suntech’s TOPCon 3.0 cell technology and a quarter-cut layout. Dividing cells into smaller sections reduces the current flowing through each section, which lowers resistive losses and hot-spot risk. The company reports cell conversion efficiency of up to 27.5%.
The larger Ultra T 3.0 module displayed at the booth has a bifacial, dual-glass design. The STP-NT11/66QGDF series reaches 670 W and 24.8% module efficiency. It measures 2,382 × 1,134 × 30 mm, weighs 33.1 kg, and has 80 ± 5% bifaciality and a power temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C. Suntech targets the module at commercial and large-scale projects.
Suntech also showed a smaller, full-black Ultra T 3.0 module with an anti-glare design for airports and other sites where reflected light is a concern. The displayed version is rated at 470 W and 23.5% efficiency. The monofacial STP-NT11/48QGSF series spans 470 W to 490 W and measures 1,762 × 1,134 mm.
For residential and commercial rooftops, Suntech displayed a 520 W half-cell TOPCon module from its Ultra T 2.0 series. The black-frame, monofacial dual-glass model reaches 23.4% efficiency and carries a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power warranty.
Alongside the PV modules, Suntech presented residential and C&I energy storage, although the company did not identify the exact models displayed. Its wider SunStorage Home portfolio spans 3 kW to 20 kW and 6 kWh to 54 kWh. The SunStorage Pro C&I portfolio includes AC- and DC-coupled configurations, among them a 125 kW/261 kWh all-in-one cabinet (see Suntech Launches Residential And C&I ESS At Intersolar).
