Suntech introduced new modules from its Ultra T 3.0 quarter-cut series at Intersolar Europe
Based on TOPCon technology, residential modules are rated at 485 W and 680 W for utility-scale applications
The company also showcased its lightweight and Ultra T 2.0 series modules, as well as energy storage solutions
Suntech, a leading solar manufacturer, showcased its latest portfolio at Intersolar Europe 2026. The company introduced the Ultra T 3.0 quarter-cut module series for the European market. Alongside the new products, the company also showcased its existing Ultra T 2.0 modules for residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and utility-scale applications. Also part of its showcase were SunStorage residential and commercial energy storage solutions.
The Ultra T 3.0 series includes a 680 W bifacial dual-glass module with 25.2% module efficiency for utility-scale projects. For residential applications, Suntech offers a 485 W full-black monofacial double-glass module reaching 24.3% module efficiency. Both modules are based on the company's quarter-cut n-type TOPCon cell architecture. According to Suntech, the quarter-cut architecture, together with ultra-fine gridline printing and a high-density encapsulation process, delivers more than 20 W higher output than a comparable half-cell module. The utility module also offers up to 90% bifaciality and features a temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C.
Suntech exhibited its existing Ultra T 2.0 portfolio. For residential applications, the company offers a black-frame monofacial dual-glass module reaching 23.4% module efficiency and a rated power output of 520 W. Built with 108 half-cells, it measures 1,961 × 1,134 × 30 mm and weighs 23.5 kg. For C&I and distributed projects, the company showcased a 650 W bifacial dual-glass module reaching 24.1% efficiency. For utility-scale applications, the company displayed a 735 W bifacial dual-glass module with 23.7% efficiency. The 132 half-cell module measures 2,384 × 1,303 × 33 mm and weighs 37.3 kg. Both the 650 W and 735 W modules feature 80±5% bifaciality, 2 mm dual-glass construction, and support 1,500 V system voltage.
The company also displayed a 470 W residential bifacial module and a lightweight 290 W n-type bifacial module weighing 17.2 kg for low-load rooftops, including industrial buildings, lightweight steel structures, and agricultural greenhouses.
On the energy storage side, Suntech showcased its SunStorage solutions, including stackable residential battery systems with 6 kWh and 9 kWh battery modules and a 125 kW/261 kWh commercial energy storage cabinet.
