Key Takeaways
  • TCL Zhonghuan showcased its latest solar module portfolio under the TCL Solar and SunPower brands at All Energy Australia 2026

  • The TCL Solar C2 M back-contact module delivers up to 670 W power output and 24.8% efficiency

  • The company also highlighted lightweight modules, steel-framed designs and flexible mounting options for commercial installations

Vertically integrated solar PV manufacturer TCL Zhonghuan showcased its latest solar modules and integrated energy solutions at All Energy Australia 2026, held from October 28 to 29 in Melbourne. The company presented products under its TCL Solar and SunPower brands, targeting residential, commercial, and utility-scale applications.

Among the products showcased was TCL Solar’s BC module, the C2 M, available with power outputs ranging from 645 W to 670 W and a maximum efficiency of 24.8%. The n-type bifacial module features 132 half-cells and a dual-glass design. It measures 2,382 × 1,134 mm and has a power temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C.

TCL Zhonghuan says the C2 M module can also be manufactured with glass thicknesses of up to 2.5 mm to withstand hail impacts up to 65 mm. The product datasheet lists a configuration with 2.0 mm glass on both sides and a hail resistance rating of 55 mm. The module also comes with a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance warranty.

For commercial and industrial (C&I) installations, the company showcased its expanded product portfolio. This includes lightweight modules for rooftops with limited load-bearing capacity and steel-framed modules for large-scale applications. TCL Zhonghuan has also expanded the permitted clamping zones and validated 2-, 3-, and 4-rail mounting configurations across selected module series, giving installers more flexibility for different structural and wind-load requirements.

Under the SunPower brand, the company presented its SunPower Max module, which combines BC and shingled technologies in an all-black design. TCL Zhonghuan also highlighted the growing use of BC technology in utility-scale projects, referring to the 720 MW Smoky Creek and Guthrie's Gap solar projects awarded to TCL Solar by DT Infrastructure in July 2026.

Beyond solar modules, TCL Zhonghuan demonstrated an integrated smart energy concept combining solar generation, battery storage and consumer electronics.
