Technagon GmbH, a German company specializing in charging technology solutions, recently unveiled a new lineup of AC charging stations, consisting of the W40, P40, P45, and P80 models. These charging stations cater to both public and semi-private usage and are specifically designed for wallboxes and charging columns, providing 2 charging points.

The W40, P40, and P45 all have a maximum charging power of 22 kW per charging point, while the P80 has a maximum charging power of 44 kW per charging point. The dimensions and weight of the charging stations also vary slightly. The W40 is the smallest and lightest of the 4 charging stations with dimensions of 400 x 200 x 120 mm and a weight of 12 kg, while the P80 is the heaviest at 20 kg and also the largest, measuring 800 x 400 x 120 mm.

The charging stations are all compliant with the German calibration law, and feature a so-called charging module. This means that if a charging module is defective, it can simply be replaced without the need to re-register the charging station under the calibration law. This innovative approach also earned Technagon a spot as a finalist for the prestigious Power2Drive AWARD 2023.
