  • SolarSpace offers a wide range of cell products, including M10 TOPCon bifacial solar cells with efficiency ranging from 24.8% to 25.3%
  • SolarSpace's latest Lumina II series based on TOPCon cell technology has 3 main products: a mid-sized module for C&I and utility applications, and two residential rooftop modules
  • All products are based on M10 cell size, are bifacial, half-cell, and MBB modules interconnected with 16 busbars.

SolarSpace is an emerging PV manufacturer from China. The company started its solar journey in 2011 with a focus on cell manufacturing and established its first cell production facility in 2016. In 2021, SolarSpace also entered the module business by establishing its first module fab. It currently has 6 manufacturing bases with a production capacity of 40 GW for cells and 6 GW for modules.

SolarSpace claims to be the fourth-largest cell supplier in the world and the top cell supplier to India. It offers M10 TOPCon bifacial solar cells with efficiency ranging from 24.8% to 25.3%. The company's PERC cell products are available in both the leading formats, M10 and G12. The bifacial M10 PERC cells are offered with an efficiency between 23.3% and 23.5%, while the G12 products have a slightly lower efficiency range from 23.2% to 23.4%. SolarSpace still lists 157 mm multicrystalline cells as part of its cell product portfolio on its website.

The company's latest Lumina II series based on TOPCon cell technology has 3 main products: one mid-sized module for C&I and utility applications and 2 residential rooftop modules. All TOPCon products of the company are based on M10 cell size, are bifacial, half-cell, and MBB modules interconnected with 16 busbars. The major difference is the number of cells. The module built with 144 half cells has a power rating of 585 W and 22.65% efficiency, making it a larger module. Both of the residential modules are built with 108 cells and have the same power rating of 430 W corresponding to 22.02% efficiency. The only difference is that one of them is an all-black module, but it still has the same performance as the regular product (see Top Solar Modules Listing—September 2023).
