Italy-based TreeSystem Ground Mountings offers a one-of-a-kind anchored mounting solution, specifically for shallow soil and steep slopes. At Intersolar Europe 2026, the company exhibited its modular mounting solutions for carport applications in commercial parking spaces and for pedestrian walkways. This anchored mounting system completely avoids concrete footing and requires minimal equipment.
The mounting structure has a mounting pole with guided channels in different directions welded to the base of the pole. Rods are inserted through these channels using a pneumatic hammer, making sure the mounting pole is anchored into the ground.
The mounting pole also comes with an adjustable height for steep slopes, with varying inclination between 10 and 40 degrees. The rods are anchored into the ground at an average depth of about 50 cm.
For concrete plinths, the company offers a ‘plate solution’, in which the whole mounting structure is based on a structural steel plate fixed to the concrete plinth by drilling screws into it.
TreeSystem offers multiple carport mounting system variants depending on the parking capacity requirement and space. The standard carport variant offers a parking bay with a capacity of two cars, while the space-saving version offers parking space for four cars. For larger car capacity, the company offers multiple modular mounting structures with a capacity of four cars per bay in both North-South orientation installation and in a V-shaped installation layout.
These mounting solutions are also extended for longitudinal parking requirements and pedestrian walkways, in which the modules are mounted in single-portrait or double-landscape orientation. These patented anchoring mounting installations can also be applied to utility-scale installations, with already demonstrated multi-megawatt projects in Italy, Germany, Australia, Taiwan, and Turkey, among a total of 50 countries. The company claims a total of over 3,500 global installations to date.
