Trinasolar showcased the latest Elementa 3 series utility BESS at All Energy 2025 in Australia
Equipped with 587 Ah battery cells, the BESS offers 6.25 MWh of storage capacity
The company also displayed Vertex S+ and Vertex NED19RC.20 series module for rooftop and utility applications, respectively
Trinasolar, well-known for PV modules, which has expanded into the energy storage and green hydrogen segment through Trina Storage, showcased its lineup of products at All Energy Australia 2025.
The company lists high storage capacity, operational safety, and efficiency as the key features for its latest utility battery-energy storage system (BESS), Elementa 3. Designed for the Australian market, it is equipped with 587 Ah battery cells and boasts a storage capacity of up to 6.25 MWh. The company says that this system, with ‘improved energy density’ and featuring a cooling mechanism based on a circulating liquid, reduces the levelized cost of storage (LCOS) for a utility BESS project by up to 12.5% compared to its predecessor. Additionally, it supports leading inverter brands in Australia and integration on the AC side of a utility BESS project
For residential and commercial rooftops, Trina introduced the Vertex S+ NEG9RH.28 solar module. It features a power output of up to 475 W and an efficiency of up to 23.8%. With a size of 1,762 × 1,134 mm, this TOPCon-cell-based dual glass module weighs 21 kg. The company says its ‘low-voltage design’ supports a higher number of panes per string compared to its standard counterparts. This, in turn, reduces labor costs and DC-side cabling with improved flexibility in plant design. It carries a product and performance warranty of up to 25 and 30 years, respectively.
For utility, the company promoted its Vertex NED19RC.20 series TOPCon module. This module is rated for up to 650 W of power and an efficiency of up to 24.1%. According to the company, it is rated to withstand the impact of hailstones of up to 55 mm in diameter and endure wind loads of up to 6,000 Pa . It is offered with identical warranties as the module mentioned above.
Trinasolar also highlighted its Green Hydrogen technology, including the ONE-series electrolyzers, which consume up to 10% less power than the industry standard when paired with PV & storage, claims the company.
