During the TaiyangNews Global PV Technology Trends 2026 virtual conference, Adele Zhao, Head of Marketing, Product and Services (EU & LAC) at Trinasolar, briefly spoke about the company’s product lineup showcased at Intersolar Europe 2026.

Chief among its exhibits were the latest G3 series PV module range under the Vertex S+ and Vertex N brands. The former uses G12R-size cells while the latter is equipped with G12-size cells. The Vertex S+ G3 consists of 1,762 × 1,134 × 30 mm NEG9R series modules with different visual appearances, including a black frame with a white background and a full-black aesthetic. This module has a rated power output of up to 485 W. The NEG18R.28Q model is also part of this series, offering a higher maximum power output of 535 W in larger dimensions of 1,961 × 1,134 × 30 mm. The company promotes these modules for rooftop and commercial & industrial (C&I) installations.

Zhao also elaborated on two modules from the Vertex N G3 series – NEG19RC.20Q (2,382 × 1,134 × 30 mm) and NEG21C.20Q (2,384 × 1,303 × 33 mm). The smaller module is rated at 670 W while its larger counterpart can deliver up to 760 W. These modules are targeted at utility applications.

All the modules discussed above feature a multi-cut cell-based layout and cell-to-cell gapless interconnection technology as opposed to the previous generation's (G2 series) half-cut-cell layout. They have improved their power temperature coefficient to -0.26%/°C from their last generation’s -0.29%/°C, Zhao claimed.

On the solar tracker side, she highlighted the company’s latest Vanguard 1P series with terrain-following capability, enabling installation by conforming to terrain contours. This facilitates east-west oriented PV installation and reduces row-to-row shading throughout the day compared with fixed tilt-based alternatives.

When embedded with the company’s intelligent tracking management system, SuperTrack, this tracker can automatically position itself based on real-time site conditions, front and rear irradiance, and weather forecasts to maximize yield. According to Zhao, this intelligent tracking of the Sun’s movement results in additional power generation during early morning and late evening that coincides with high spot market electricity tariff rates. This helps the plant operators earn additional revenue by selling to the energy market during non-negative tariff slots.

In addition, Zhao introduced the company’s latest battery energy storage platforms: Elementa 3 and Electra 13.8. The Elementa 3 series is a containerized DC storage system, while the latter is a turnkey solution with an integrated power conversion system (PCS) for AC-coupling with the grid.
