- GAIL has launched a tender for 600 MW AC solar PV capacity in Gujarat
- It will be set up as 6×100 MW AC at Khavda Ultra Mega Solar Park in Kutch district
- Comprehensive O&M services for 10 years post commissioning will also form scope of work
State-owned natural gas supplier GAIL (India) Limited solicits bids from interested solar EPC contractors to build and commission 600 MW AC solar PV capacity at Khavda Ultra Mega Solar Park in Gujarat’s Kutch district.
Broad scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of 6 projects of 100 MW AC capacity each, along with providing comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) for 10 years post commissioning.
Launched on December 1, 2022, there is a short window for bids to come in. GAIL will accept bids for this tender till December 7, 2022. Details are available on Indian government’s e-procurement tender website with Tender Reference Number: GAIL/NOIDA/CnP/PD/22167.

NTPC REL is tasked to set up 4.75 GW renewable energy park at Khavda, Rann of Kutch as the country’s largest single sited solar park to be built by the largest power producer in the country, under mode 8 (Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Park) of Solar Park Scheme (see India’s Largest Solar Park With 4.75 GW Capacity, Cleared).
