  • Ruserio Solar has launched a tender seeking EPC bidders for a 134 MW DC/113 MW AC solar plant in Romania
  • It is planned to be located in Giurgiu County of Bucsani-Ogrezeni region on 150-hectare land
  • The company plans for the project to use bifacial solar modules with 570.24W output

Romanian solar project development company Ruserio Solar has invited expressions of interest (EOI) from interested EPC contractors for a project with up to 134 MW DC/113 MW AC capacity, to be stationed in the country's Bucsani-Ogrezeni region's Giurgiu County.

Ruserio Solar says it will be responsible for the design, finance, build, own, operate, maintain and decommissioning the plant at the end of its operational life. Project location is closer to existing electricity grid infrastructure since Giurgiu county enjoys proximity with major cities of Bucharest and Ploiesti.

The company has secured land for the project to be spread in 150 hectares. It wants to deploy 234,984 monocrystalline silicon bifacial solar modules with 570.24W output, for the ground mounted facility. These can be sourced from potential vendors identified as JinkoSolar, Trina Solar, LONGi Solar among others.

Inverters, it said, can be supplied by ABB, SMA Solar, Sungrow as potential vendors.

According to the EOI document, the project will be tied under a corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) with a private offtaker and/or offered for power trading at Romania Gas and Electricity Market Operator, and /or power exchange and passing renewable auction.

Interested companies can respond to the call latest by March 31, 2022. Further details are available on the company's website.
