- OPWP has launched another consultancy tender for its 500 MW Ibri III Solar IPP Project
- The tender seeks interested bidders to provide financial and consultancy services and advise on competitive tendering process
- Project is scheduled to assume commercial operations in Q4/2026 in Oman
The Oman Power and Water Procurement Company (OPWP) is moving swiftly on its Ibri III 500 MW solar power project, having launched a financial and commercial consultancy services tender for the development of the facility.
Launched on November 21, 2022, the tender seeks interested bidders to provide financial and consultancy services for the aforesaid project, and also advise on its competitive tendering process.
OPWP will procure power from 500 MW independent power producer (IPP) facility in a bid to help diversify Oman’s power generation sources and use clean energy instead. The project is aimed to become operational by Q4/2026.
Last date to submit tender documents is January 11, 2023. Details will be available on OPWP’s website with tender no. OPWP/2022/02x.
