Germany’s Bundesnetzagentur, or the Federal Network Agency, has launched a ground-mounted solar PV tender for 2.327 GW capacity with December 1, 2025, as the bidding deadline. The call was launched on October 23, 2025.
Winning projects stand to secure financial support under the country’s Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG). Bids for this tender can be submitted for open-space systems to be built on agricultural land, along with arable and grassland areas in disadvantaged areas.
Bids are capped at €0.0680/kWh, which is the cap set for all ground-mounted solar PV tenders launched in 2025, down from €0.0737/kWh in 2024 (see Germany Fixes Ceiling Tariffs For 2025 Solar PV Tenders).
For the year 2025, the agency has a target to tender 9.9 GW ground-mounted PV capacity, spread evenly across 3 bidding dates. In the last auction round for this segment, it awarded 2.27 GW capacity (see Germany Awards 2.27 GW In Ground Mounted Solar Auction).
