NHPC Limited, the Indian hydropower utility, has launched tenders to seek EPC contractors for a cumulative 600 MW capacity, in the form of 2 solar power projects, both ground mounted and both to be stationed in the state of Tamil Nadu.
The 500 MW ground mounted project with tender ID: ID:2021_NHPC_642806_1 needs to be set up anywhere within Tamil Nadu, connected with the Inter State Transmission System (ISTS) substation. Selected contractor will need to also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) for the facility for 10 years.
Interested bidders can quote any capacity, with 100 MW minimum capacity to be sited at a single location and in multiples of 25 MW capacity of the project.
Last date to submit bids through online medium is October 5, 2021.
Remaining 100 MW PV capacity too needs to be a ground mounted grid connected facility to be stationed within Tamil Nadu, connected with state transmission utility (STU) substation. Selected bidder will also be expected to set up associated power evacuation system, and provide comprehensive O&M for 10 years.
Last date to submit bids for this tender with tender ID: 2021_NHPC_643708_1 is October 6, 2021.
