The renewable energy arm of Indian state-owned utility NTPC Ltd, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has launched a tender seeking supply of 460.55 MW DC solar PV modules for 325 MW PV project capacity in Shajapur Solar Park of Madhya Pradesh.
Crystalline silicon solar PV modules sought, with a minimum 530W nominal rating, will be installed at 2 units of 148.80 MW DC and 311.75 MW DC of the solar park. These should be supplied by companies listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
The tender was launched on November 18, 2022, and will accept bids from interested companies till December 19, 2022. Details of the tender with invitation for bids (IFB) no. NRE-CS-5773(M)-004-9 are available on NTPC's tender website.
In December 2021, NTPC REL was seeking geotechnical consultation for the Shajapur Solar Park (see NTPC Renewable Tender For 325 MW Capacity).
The 325 MW capacity is contracted to sell power generated to the Indian Railways, Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL) and Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) (see 325 MW Solar PPA For NTPC's RE Arm).
