Tender For 100 MW Solar PV Module Manufacturing Line

• REIL has launched a tender to invite interested companies to supply and install a 100 MW automatic module manufacturing line
• It will need be able to produce 900 modules daily and 270,000 modules on annual basis with a maximum of 110.22 MW capacity annually
• Manufacturers or authorized dealers of one or more major items of the module manufacturing line will be considered for the tender

Operating under the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd (REIL) is looking for interested bidders to set up a 100 MW automatic solar PV module manufacturing line on turnkey basis.

The production line will be expected to produce solar cells with 156.75mm x 156.75mm or 158.75mm x 158.75 mm dimension with each having 5.67W cell output. It should have a capacity to roll out 900 modules daily and 270,000 annually.

It should have an uptime of 91% with 99.7% yield and produce a maximum of 110.225 MW annually. Broad scope of work for the winner will be supply, layout design, installation and commissioning, integration, testing of equipment, BIS certification, and hands on training to operate and maintain the line.

Interested bidders should be either manufacturers of one or more major items of the module manufacturing line as tabber stringer, automatic laminator and automatic sun simulator or authorized dealers of the same.

REIL has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for solar PV modules with 19 MW installed capacity, including 12 MW automatic module manufacturing line. Now it wants to expand the capacity by 100 MW in order to 'excel further in the field and to fulfil the objectives aligning with government objective to make domestic manufacturer competitive with international manufacturers'.
