This year’s REI Expo 2024 hosted multiple domestic and international PV inverter makers. Growatt New Energy, a Shenzen, Guangdong-based leading PV string inverter manufacturer, showcased its wide array of application-specific inverters at the show.

In an exclusive interview with TaiyangNews, product manager of Growatt, Mr. Sunesh Menon, spoke about the company's string inverters for a comprehensive range of applications, including residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and utility.

Residential

The company introduced upgraded versions of residential inverters – the MIC X2 Pro, MIN X2 Pro/Pro(E), and MOD X2 Pro – series at the event. The MIC 3300TL-X2 (Pro) 1-phase string inverter, equipped with 1 MPPT channel, offers an output power range of 1 kW to 3.3 kW. For a higher residential load application, the displayed MIN 6000-X2 Pro/Pro(E) series model, featuring 2 MPPT channels, boasts an output power range of 2.6 kW to 6 kW. Additionally, the MOD 10KTL3-X2 (Pro) series 3-phase model, with 2 MPPT channels, offers a 7 kW to 15 kW output power range.

Commercial & Industrial (C&I)

For C&I customers, Growatt displayed its MID 30-50KTL3-X2 & MAX 150KTL3-X LV series 3-phase string inverters. The MID 30-50KTL3-X2 series inverter with 4 MPPT channels, offers an AC output wattage of between 33 kW and 66 kW, while the MAX 150KTL3-X LV series model can deliver an AC output power of up to 150 kW. The latter model features 10 MPPT channels.

Utility

Growatt also exhibited its brand-new MAX 350KTL3-X utility-scale string inverter, designed for utility-scale PV projects across India. This inverter is rated for 350 kW and equipped with 6 MPPT channels. Each MPPT channel, featuring a maximum DC carrying capacity of up to 75 A, can connect up to 5 string inputs.

In addition to the aforementioned inverters, the company also introduced its latest NEO 2000M-X series microinverter, featuring 2 MPPT channels and 2 kW output capacity, at the show.

All of the company's new products exhibited at the event are either recently launched or about to be launched by Q1 2025, reported Mr. Menon.
