In addition to prominent, well-funded Indian PV module manufacturers, a few small and medium-sized enterprises showcased their latest made-in-India PV modules at the REI Expo 2024. Neosol Technologies Pvt. Ltd., equipped with a 1.2 GW annual production capacity in India’s Gurgaon and Jaipur, is a fairly new name in the PV module manufacturing space. Neosol participated in the recently held REI Expo 2024 with the latest module series.

In an exclusive interview with TaiyangNews, Arpit Agarwal, vice chairman & managing director of Neosol, highlighted the company's brand-new bifacial TOPCon and commercially available PERC module at the event.

TOPCon module

The company unveiled its brand-new bifacial large-size TOPCon PV module, featuring 144 half-cells, at the show. Without mentioning module-level efficiency, the company says that the module offers a power output of up to 600 W.

PERC module

Neosol also displayed its commercially available mono PERC cell-based Black Pearl Series module. This module, featuring 144 pieces of 10BB mono PERC half-cells, boasts a power output of up to 550 W and an efficiency of up to 21.33%. This 1.5 kV maximum system voltage module series, available in 4 power classes between 535 W and 550 W, offers an open-circuit voltage (Voc) of up to 42.05 V and a maximum short-circuit current (Isc) of 13.86 A. Laminated with 3.2 mm thick anti-radiant coated (ARC) tempered glass and a backsheet film, this 2,278 x 1,134 x 35 mm size module weighs 29 kg. The company offers 12 years of product and 25 years of linear power attenuation warranty for this module.

In addition to TOPCon and PERC cell technology-based products, the company is contemplating launching an HJT cell technology-based module by March or April 2025.
