- Indian PV panel maker Vikram Solar has appointed Nimish Jain as Head Global Module Sales Division
- Jain was previosly employed with Jinko Solar as Deputy Director for Asia Pacific region
Vikram Solar, an Indian solar energy solutions provider from India, has brought on board Nimish Jain to head its global module sales division. Jain was previously handling Asia Pacific region for Chinese company JinkoSolar as its Deputy Director looking after South East Asia.
Prior to Jinko, Jain has worked with SMA Solar and Reliance Industries Limited. In his current role, he will be responsible for driving sales in both domestic and international markets. His responsibilities will also include supervising the accomplishments of targets and P&L of the year, as well as recruiting and managing the sales team.
Vikram Solar is one of the top five Indian module manufacturers. It operates a 500 MW facility and plans to expand its capacity to 2 GW by 2020. It also runs an EPC business, designing, installing and commissioning solar projects worldwide.
