Zhuang has been working with the Chinese company for over 13 years. He studied together with Qu in Canada and joined the company in 2006 as a director. In 2009, he resigned and re-joined the company as vice president of Global Sales and Marketing.

A statement from Dr Qu said he will continue to be involved in all major decisions affecting the company during his absence.
