Laser micromachining and roll-to-roll laser systems provider for PV industry, 3D-Micromac AG has announced the appointment of Marko Gerlach as the company's new CFO with immediate effect.
This is the 1st major leadership rejig for the German company after its Founder Tino Petsch handed over the business to US investors. Its then CTO Uwe Wagner was then announced to lead the company (see Uwe Wagner To Lead 3D-Micromac AG).
Gerlach comes to 3D-Micromac from German integrated photonics group, Jenoptik Group where he worked since 2009. Till very recently, he was responsible for the company's operational accounting in Germany. At 3D-Micromac, Gerlach will be responsible for all areas of accounting and controlling.
The new CFO takes over from 3D-Micromac's interim CFO Frank Jäger who will leave the company after ensuring a smooth transition for which he will stay on for a period of time.
