Qingdao Gaoce sees 109.9% rise in 2021 operating profit: Disclosing its 2021 performance results, wire cutting machine producer Qingdao Gaoce Technology said that in 2021, it has achieved an operating income of RMB 1.5 billion ($0.24 billion), a year-on-year increase of 109.97%. Some of the factors that contributed to this growth were: the company's cutting equipment products continued to maintain a leading competitive advantage last year; the production capacity and shipments of diamond wire increased significantly; the sale of innovative businesses such as semiconductors, sapphire, and magnetic materials achieved magnitude breakthroughs; and the silicon wafer cutting and processing service business was successfully put into production. Hengdian Group DMEGC income increases in 2021: Vertically integrated solar module manufacturer from China, Hengdian Group DMEGC Magnetics released its 2021 annual performance report. As per the report, the company has achieved an operating income of RMB 12.6 billion ($1.9 billion), an increase of 55.5% over the same period last year. However, the company added that due to factors such as rising raw material prices and shipping costs, product costs have increased, leading to decline in gross profit margins. Jiayu signs 300 MW PV power station deal: EPC company Jiayu Group announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Xuzhou Jiayu has signed a number of Procurement and Construction (PC) contracts for photovoltaic power station projects with Gansu Jianian. The company also added that it would undertake the PC general contracting for the 300 MW photovoltaic project for RMB 1.3 billion ($0.21 billion).
Zhejiang Energy for subsidiary to expand energy projects: Power supply construction company Zhejiang Energy said that in order to implement its development strategy and expand renewable energy power generation projects, the company plans to jointly establish a subsidiary with Qinghai Development Investment. The company's business scope will include investment, development, construction and operation management of renewable energy projects such as photovoltaic power generation, wind power generation, and hydropower generation.
