Clenergy signs 150 MW PV agreement with Pingliang Govt: In an announcement, Solar PV mounting and tracker system supplier Clenergy said that it has signed a 150 MW photovoltaic power generation project cooperation framework agreement with the Pingliang Municipal Government of Ningxia Province. The project is located in Kongtong District, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, with an investment of about RMB 600 million ($92.97 million). Last year, the company had won the bid to supply 293 MW capacity to TBEA under a 600 MW PV demonstration project bid in Shihezi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (see China PV News Snippets: Clenergy, Trina, LONGi, Huarong). The late info on trackers, including data on Clenergy's products, is covered in our 1st market survey on trackers (see TaiyangNews Solar Trackers Market Survey 2021).

DR Laser equipment exported to Europe: Laser LIA equipment from DR Laser for HJT high-efficiency cell production lines were shipped to Europe. The news comes after China based DR Laser was already successful in the Turkish market. The company said it completed development of the LIA process, which now has a mass production plan design and demonstration, production and service customization, and passed strict European standard certification.

SP & Jinko to expand new energy business: Utilities group SP Group said in an announcement that the company and Jinko Power have signed a joint venture agreement to acquire and invest in renewable energy assets and to develop integrated energy solutions in China. The JV will be 60% owned by SP Group and 40% by Jinko Power. The JV will acquire an initial 102 MW of rooftop solar assets from Jinko Power in the Yangtze River Delta region that includes Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. This is SP's first acquisition of renewable energy assets in China, a key growth market for the company as it embarks on expanding its renewable and sustainable energy solutions footprint in the region.
