PDT receives purchase & prototype orders for 40 wet processing tools: Manufacturer of productivity-driven equipment applied in semiconductor and solar power businesses, Productive Technologies Company Limited (PDT), announced that it has received purchase orders and prototype orders for 40 sets of wet processing equipment for solar cell manufacturing. This has come from different customers, and about 23 of them are based on double-layer chain cleaning equipment platform (NIAK4), their latest product development platform. NIAK4 is upgraded based on the RENA modular chain cleaning equipment platform NIAK and is compatible with conventional pickling process, as well as various processes such as low-temperature acid etching process and high-temperature alkali polishing process based on the authorized patented single-side floating process. The revenue from these purchases is yet to be disclosed. In Aug. 2022, Germany based manufacturer of wet chemical surface treatment equipment maker RENA Technologies sold its Chinese solar business to PDT, which now develops and manufactures the RENA developed solar wet chemical equipment for Chinese companies exclusively, while RENA will continue to serve the global solar market outside of China with its solar wet benches (see RENA Technologies Offloads Chinese Solar Business).
