Taoistic Solar to invest in module & energy storage in Jiangsu: Technology company specializing in R&D, production, and sales of solar modules, Taoistic Solar, said that it will be building a 7 GW high-efficiency photovoltaic module facility and 5 GWh energy storage battery fab in Jinxi Industrial Park, Jiangsu. Towards this, a land of 238 mu is being planned to be acquired. The total investment will be about RMB 3 billion ($0.41 billion). Last year in July, Taoistic Solar announced plans to invest in 5 GW TOPCon and 5 GW HJT cell facility (see China Solar PV News Snippets)
Leadmicro and EGing partner for TOPCon cell equipment: Chinese solar cell equipment producer Jiangsu Leadmicro Nano-Technology announced that it has signed a sales deal with solar photovoltaic products developer EGing PV. As per the deal, Leadmicro will be selling TOPCon cell equipment, including but not limited to ALD equipment, PEALD equipment, PECVD equipment, tubular diffusion oxidation annealing furnace to EGing. The total deal is for about RMB 386 million ($53.3 million) (tax included). The equipment has to be delivered within 60 days, starting 10 July 2023.
Shuangliang Eco-Energy wins Tongwei Silicon's bid: Production equipment maker Shuangliang Eco-Energy announced via WeChat that its holding subsidiary, Jiangsu Shuangliang New Energy Equipment, has won the bid of Inner Mongolia Tongwei Silicon Energy. The bid amount is for RMB 266.7 million ($36.8 million) and the scope involves multi-pair rod polysilicon reduction furnace equipment.
Dongwei completes photovoltaic copper plating equipment: Extending the vertical plating technology in the PCB field to photovoltaic copper plating, electroplating equipment provider Dongwei Technology has completed the first third-generation photovoltaic copper plating equipment, local media reports said. Currently the copper plating equipment is being debugged and is expected to be shipped to customers by August.
