Vikram Solar has appointed a new Vice President, Global Markets with a focus on strengthening the Indian module manufacturer and EPC player's international presence. Ravindra Anil Vaidya will be based out of Singapore and lead the firm's global market strategy.
The MD and CEO of Vikram Solar, Gyanesh Chaudhary said Vaidya brings in immense experience in building business relationships and expanding presence in the global markets.
With 27 years of industry experience, Vaidya was previously the head of sales at inverter maker ABB for Singapore and Southeast Asia. He has also worked with Siemens and CG Power Systems across Southeast Asia.
"I am excited to be a part of what I envision to be a robust growth period for Vikram and look forward to leading the company's expansion in international markets through this transformational stage," said Vaidya. "My focus would be to further build on the company's success whilst simultaneously ensuring we remain focused on delivering the very best quality products and service to our customers across the globe."
In February 2018, the company opened its second office in the United States in Massachusetts to enhance the ease of doing business and quicker business communication.
