SJVN Seeking Bidders For 100 MW AC Solar Power Plant

Indian Hydropower Utility Invites EPC Contractors To Deliver Turnkey Project In Rajasthan

SJVN Limited, the Indian state-owned hydropower utility, has launched a competitive solicitation bid to seek EPC development companies for a 100 MW AC solar power plant it has developed in Rajasthan. 

Located at Nawa in Didwana Kuchaman region of the desert state of India, the project is contracted to supply power to state utility Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RUVNL) under a power purchase agreement (PPA). 

Broad scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, erection, testing and commissioning on a turnkey basis. Comprehensive operation and maintenance for a period of 3 years from the date of commissioning is also part of the job. 

Solar modules to be used for the project need to be sourced from the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). 

The project needs to be end-to-end delivered to SJVN's subsidiary SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL). 

The tender was launched on April 4, 2024 with the last date to submit bids being April 26, 2024. The details are available on SJVN's website.
