Spanish solar tracker supplier Soltec Power Holdings has landed itself a plum order for 700 MW capacity to be delivered to the US for 2 solar power projects coming up in the state of Colorado.

US based construction company Moss & Associates has chosen Soltec's SF7 bifacial trackers to be used in a 2-in-portrait configuration for the said facilities whose details were not shared. Soltec said it will begin delivery of the order within 2021.

With this deal that strengthens its position in the US market, Soltec said its operating backlog has further grown. At the end of Q2/2021, it had swelled to €363 million and a pipeline valued at €2.906 billion.

This order from Moss & Associates comes soon after Soltec won a 234 MW deal for SF7 bifacial trackers in Spain from Statkraft in July 2021 (see Soltec Bags 234 MW Solar Tracker Order From Statkraft).
