Tongwei releases monocrystalline solar cell pricing: Integrated solar PV manufacturer from China Tongwei Solar announced the latest monocrystalline solar cells pricing through its WeChat channel. Compared with the last quotation, the increase has been between RMB 0.05-0.07/Watt ($0.0075-0.10/Watt), and now the prices stand as follows:
- 210-size cells – RMB 1.23/W ($0.18/Watt)
- 182-size cells – RMB 1.26/W ($0.19/Watt)
- 166-size cells – RMB 1.24 /W ($0.19/Watt)
DAH Solar and Anhui Chaohu sign 5 GW TOPCon manufacturing project: PV modules developer and manufacturer DAH Solar and Anhui Chaohu Econometric and Technological Development Zone have signed a 5 GW TOPCon Solar Cells and PV Modules production project. Spread across an area of 210 mu, the project will have an investment of about RMB 2 billion ($0.30 billion). As per the agreement, DAH Solar will be building a 3 GW TOPCon cell and 2 GW TOPCon module production base. The project is likely to be operational after the 2023 Spring Festival.
Antai Solar launches all-aluminum BIPV product: Solar mounting and tracking systems company Antai Solar released an all-aluminum BIPV product called Taiyang Ding. The new product is easy to install and adopts the company’s self-developed aluminum alloy – Thai Alloy, which the company feels has obvious advantages over carbon steel and other aluminum alloys. Taiyang Ding is capable of meeting application requirements under various extreme conditions, the company added.
