JA Solar releases Q2/2021 report:  JA Solar's third quarter results showed that the Chinese vertically integrated PV panel manufacturer has achieved an operating revenue of approximately RMB 9.9 billion ($1.5 billion), representing a year-on-year increase of 70.46%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was approximately RMB 599 million ($93.5 million), an increase of 1.44% year-on-year.  JA Solar will speak at the upcoming TaiyangNews Solar Module Innovations virtual conference on Nov. 15/16 about "Learnings from using 182mm modules for utility-scale applications". Risen to transfer 132 MW PV power plant project in Australia: Chinese solar panel maker Risen Energy announced that it intends to transfer a 132 MW PV power plant project held by Merredin Solar Farm, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the company in Australia, to Merredin Project Company Pty Ltd. The transaction is about A$186 million ($137.47 million) and is being initiated by Risen in its personal capacity and as trustee of MerredinProject Trust. The company said that the transaction will help it improve its asset operation efficiency and to recover funds for the construction of PV power plants. Earlier this year, Risen had sealed a renewable energy power purchase agreement for the same project with global natural resources mining group BHP (see Risen Energy Secures Solar PPA With BP In Australia). Shuangliang Eco-Energy doubles Q3 revenues: China headquartered solar PV production equipment maker Shuangliang Eco-Energy has achieved a revenue of RMB 1.01 billion ($0.16 billion) in the third quarter of 2021, up 109.75% year-on-year. The net profit was at RMB 74.6 million ($11.65 million), up 100.44% year-on-year. The increase in operating revenue was mainly due to market development and increased demand and sales growth.
