Sungrow & China Huadian partner for clean power: Solar PV inverter supplier Sungrow Power and state-owned power generation enterprise China Huadian Corporation have joined hands to explore the application of clean power conversion technology in energy transformation, and jointly promote global zero-carbon industrial upgrading, Sungrow said in an announcement. This is the 10th year that both the companies have partnered and looks forward for more in-depth cooperation with respect to operation and maintenance and hydrogen energy technology. Recently, China Huadian Corporation Hebei Branch had singed an agreement with Zhongli Group to develop the 'new energy market' in Hebei Province (see China PV News Snippets: Zhongli, Maxwell, Sungrow, Northwest)

Zhongli signs 500 MW rooftop distributed PV project: Solar module supplier Zhongli Group announced that it has signed an agreement with the People's Government of Benxi Manchu Autonomous County and China Power Investment Northeast New Energy Development for a 500 MW whole county rooftop distributed project. In March 2021, Zhongli Group had revealed its plans of expansion by stating that its subsidiary Suzhou Talesun Solar Technology Co., Ltd., will add 5 GW of solar cell and 5 GW solar module capacity to its manufacturing portfolio (see Zhongli Group To Invest In 10 GW Solar Production)

JA Solar supplies modules to Uzbekistan's 1st PV plant: Solar PV panel manufacturer JA Solar stated that it has supplied 138 MW (100 MW AC side) modules for the first PV plant in Uzbekistan. Reacting to this development, Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said, "The grid connection of this plant is the first step in Uzbekistan's new energy system and marks a brand-new stage in the development of the industry." Located in Navoi Oblast, the project covers an area of 267 hectares, and is expected to generate 278 million kWh of electricity (see 100 MW Nur Navoi Solar Project Online In Uzbekistan).

Beijing Energy subsidiary gets into EPC contract: Jingneng Photovoltaic, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Energy International, has entered into an EPC Contract with Nenggao Automation, the company announced. As per the contract, Nenggao Automation will provide EPC services to Jingneng Photovoltaic for the construction of the Agricultural Photovoltaic Power Project located at Qixia with a planned capacity of 112 MW and for a consideration of RMB 436.36 million ($67.52 million).
