Autowell wins RMB 100 mn bid procurement project: In an announcement, automation equipment manufacturer Autowell Technology said that it has won the bid for a photovoltaic module manufacturing-stringer procurement project, amounting to RMB 100 million ($15.52 million), including tax. It follows the company’s August 2021 success, when it secured JA Solar’s RMB 130 mn contract for high-speed stringer, wafer inspection, and monocrystal growth furnace projects (see China PV News Snippets: LONGi, Yangling, Autowell, SUMEC).

3 GW+ wind-solar project for Guangdong Electric & Dafang: Joint stock enterprise Guangdong Electric Power announced that it has signed an agreement with Dafang County People’s Government for the development of wind and solar power projects. Towards this, Guangdong Electric intends to invest RMB 18.01 billion ($2.8 billion) to construct photovoltaic and wind power projects with a total installed capacity of 3.12 GW.

Huasun & Ideal to develop high-capacity HJT PECVD equipment: HJT cell and module maker Huasun Energy has partnered with PV equipment manufacturer Ideal Energy (Shanghai) Sunflower, the Chinese company said in a release. Both the companies will be developing special PECVD equipment for large-capacity heterojunction cells, and will be using new technologies on 10-layer CVD equipment to conduct research on mass production and process feasibility, and develop lower-cost, larger-capacity CVD equipment.

Huaneng Group’s 300 MW PV plans for Fujian: Huaneng Group has signed a rooftop distributed PV development project with Pucheng County of Fujian province. Under this it will develop 300 MW rooftop PV capacity across the county through its subsidiary Huaneng (Fujian) Energy Development Co. Rooftop solar systems will be installed on government offices, schools, hospitals, industrial and commercial enterprises and also for residential segment in batches. Huaneng Group will spread out the capacity alsoin the form of centralized PV facilities combining with fishery and for mining regions, to reach the 300 MW target installation capacity.

Jinko Power to collaborate with China Longyuan Power: Jinko Power and China Longyuan Power have entered a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing to explore the potential to launch a joint venture which will be focused on developing new energy grid parity projects such as PV and wind energy. Their plan is to cooperate on a minimum of 3 GW capacity during the country’s 14th Five Year Plan. The duo will also actively cooperate in EPC and related domains.
