JA Solar signs strategic cooperation agreement with NAHUI New Energy: Vertically integrated solar module manufacturer JA Solar has announced that it has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with NAHUI New Energy. According to the agreement, the 2 companies will cooperate to develop distributed photovoltaic (PV) power stations at the Haier Group headquarters. A subsidiary of Haier Group, NAHUI New Energy is a distributed smart new energy solution service provider that actively explores the development of renewable energy and digital transformation. Recently, JA Solar announced the commissioning of its 5 GW Baotou base module fab (see China Solar PV News Snippets).

JinkoSolar’s cumulative module shipments reach 200 GW: PV module manufacturing giant JinkoSolar has announced that its cumulative module shipments have reached 200 GW. The company says that one of every 8 panels installed around the globe is a JinkoSolar product. The company had announced reaching the 100 GW mark in March 2022. Stating that it has taken 13 years since inception to achieve the 200 GW milestone, the company said its “exponential growth” is a result of its strong focus on R&D. Recently, JinkoSolar reported that it has hit a new world record of 24.76% efficiency for n-type TOPCon large area modules (see JinkoSolar Sets ‘New Record’ For TOPCon Module Efficiency).

UtmoLight perovskite module gets TÜV SÜD certification: Solar technology company Wuxi UtmoLight has announced that it has received perovskite module certification from TÜV SÜD. The company said that following its 300 mm x 300 mm small trial module passing the IEC61215 (2021 version) standard certification in April this year, its 1200 mm x 600 mm commercial perovskite module has now passed the IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 standard certification. UtmoLight claims that it is the 1st first perovskite PV module company to obtain the perovskite module certification from TÜV SÜD.

Akcome receives 2 GW HJT module order: Solar cell and module manufacturer Akcome Technology has announced that it has received a 1 GW HJT module follow-up order from a European customer. This order follows the 1 GW HJT PV module contract the company signed with the customer, and the company says it has delivered 100 MW recently.

S.C New Energy wins orders from Tongwei: Equipment manufacturer S.C New Energy has announced that over the 12 months, it has signed daily operating contracts worth RMB 2.846 billion ($390.4 million) with Tongwei Solar. The contract encompasses solar cell production equipment and modifications, accessories among other things. S.C New Energy’s reported sales revenue from Tongwei for years 2020, 2021 and 2022, was RMB 693 million ($95 million), RMB 945 million ($129.6 million), and RMB 712 million ($97.7 million), respectively.
