Clenergy EzTracker With Multi-Point Sync

Clenergy’s Solar Tracker Upgraded With Patented Technology For Flexible Solar Tracking On Complex Terrains

Bifacial enabled: One of the most important upgrades associated with the EzTracker D series from Clenergy is a design with a wide gap to the torque tube (2P tracker) to avoid back-shading of the bifacial modules. (Source: Clenergy)
  • Clenergy’s EzTracker D series has been upgraded with a patented multipoint drive electrical synchronization technology
  • The closed-loop multi-point drive control monitors each driver’s operating angle and working condition in real-time, conducts real-time angle synchronization calibration
  • The EzTracker D series is supported by an intelligent SCADA system and tracker is now compatible with larger 600+ W solar modules

Clenergy provided data for its EzTracker D series  with a few upgrades for our recent Market Survey on Solar Trackers. The tracker now features a patented multipoint drive electrical synchronization technology. The technology realizes the flexible arrangement of trackers on various complex terrains. According to Clenergy, compared to the traditional mechanical linkage multi-point drive method, its technology has fewer installation parts, lower installation accuracy requirements, and more convenient and faster installation times. Unlike the traditional multi-point drive technology based on open-loop mechanical linking, Clenergy’s technology offers closed-loop multi-point drive control, which can monitor the operating angle and working condition of each driver in real time, and conduct real-time angle synchronization calibration, thereby providing timely warnings.

Clenergy’s trackers are available in 1P and 2P configurations. The latest update is a design with a wide gap above the torque tube to avoid back-shading of the bifacial modules. Each row of the EzTracker D series is independently controlled by its own DC brushless motor self-powered by the string. Clenergy applies an astronomical algorithm and closed-loop tracking method and an AI tracking algorithm helps increase the power generation by up to 8% compared to the traditional tracking algorithm, claims the company (see Intelligent Solar Trackers). Supported by an intelligent SCADA, the EzTracker can monitor, predict and remotely control the operation of the equipment through the digital platform. The SCADA system can also assist in the operation of the power plant and provide data support. The product has successfully finished the wind tunnel aeroelastic tests. The tracker is now also compatible with the larger 600+ W modules.
